Mohegan Sun Fight Night USA

Currently Spero's Video Broadcast Team (SVBT) is working under an agreement to produce "Mohegan Sun Fight Night USA" that airs on Fox Sports Network New England. The show originated over five years ago and has gained a strong following throughout New England. The series is promoted by Rich Cappiello of Cappiello Promotions who, over the past few decades has proven himself to be a world class fight promoter.

Originally created as "Mohegan Sun Fight Night New England", the show began as a 7-card professional boxing series that ran successfully for 2 seasons on FOX Sports Net.  It then grew into "Mohegan Sun Fight Night USA" which aired on the Comcast network for season 3. The series has highlighted New England's best, such as Kevin "The Clones Colossus" McBride, Ian "The Cobra" Gardner, and Sir William "The Gladiator" Gibbs.

Cappiello has been building momentum as a rising promoter and has created a rapport with ESPN. Over the last 2 years his boxing events at The Roxy, The Shaw's Center, and The Mohegan Sun Casino have been shown live on ESPN2.

It was in the summer of 2005 that Cappiello Promotions met with the Spero's Video Broadcast Team. At this meeting it was determined that SVBT had a lot to offer, and it was agreed that they would take over the television production for the show in the upcoming seasons.
